Probation For Ind. Woman Who Stole Copper Wire After Tornado In Joplin (VIDEO)

LAUREL, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) -- The Laurel, Ind. woman who police say traveled to Joplin, MO and stole copper wire from the streets following the tornado in May of 2011 will not face jail time.

Nycoa Kracht, 32, was sentenced to five years probation. Police say she was with two other men and had possession of a load of copper wire they stole from utility poles following the devastating tornado that left 158 people dead.
