Lucy Hale: I Used to Starve Myself

Lucy Hale stars on Pretty Little Liars.

But in the latest issue of Cosmopolitan, the actress opens up about a pretty big problem she has since overcome.

"I've never really talked about this, but I would go days without eating," Hale says. "Or maybe I'd have some fruit and then go to the gym for three hours... I knew I had a problem. It was a gradual process but I changed myself."

Fortunately, it sounds like the young star has moved past this eating disorder and - as you can tell by cover image above - she is looking mighty great as a result.

Hale is also dating ex-Secret Circle actor Chris Zylk, who will play a role on American Horror Story Season 2. What went down when they first met? Some serious hormones!

"I was like, 'Holy crap! You're gorgeous!" Hale laughs. "It was like no one else was there. We couldn't stop talking."

We're guessing, later in the night, they couldn't stop doing a few other things either.
